February 2010 Photo Contest

This month will be split in half to accomodate both the Feb. and March Contests so submit quickly!

PLEASE DO NOT POST IN THIS THREAD MORE THAN ONCE, YOUR POST SIMPLY DOES NOT SHOW UNTIL IT GETS APPROVED. THANK YOU.

The February 2010 photo contest topic will be "Herps Eating", chosen by January Contest winner aSnakeLovinBabe (thats me!) I love to see pics of your herps chowing down so lets see 'em! halfway through the month a voting poll will be posted. Submissions will no longer be accepted once the voting poll is posted.

Here are the rules of the competition.
-You may only enter one photo per month in the contest.
-The winner of a given month's contest gets the privilege of choosing the following month's topic, but may not participate in it.
-The first three weeks will be open to submissions, the final week will be set aside for voting.
-The picture you submit must be one that you yourself have taken.
-The picture must have a live animal in it. No photographs of herp statues...paintings, etc...
-Please specify with you picture what species you have photographed.
-You cannot vote for your own picture. Doing so disqualifies you from winning that month's contest.

-We here at reptastic do our best to keep this a fair competition for everyone, please do not attempt to cheat by logging into multiple user names and voting for yourself. All we need to do is check the database to see that this is going on. Unfortunately we have to disqualify anyone that does this from that month's competition so that the contest remains fair for all.

My bumblebee is a pretty aggressive feeder. I slid his tub out of the rack a little to feed him and he took the rat about 6 inches out of the tub! Here is is hanging out of the rack squeezing the pre-killed rat!
